How to setup your payment gateway?

This help article will walk you through the process of adding a new payment gateway to your Hytix/ FEARTICKET account, and how to assign or change payment gateways for your events.


Check Your Payment Processing Settings:

To begin, go to your Settings by clicking on the top-right corner of your dashboard, and select Payment Processing. 


Here, you’ll find two important functionalities: 


A. Payment Gateway Setup

B. Flag Orders as Suspicious if They Exceed the Price Limit


A. Payment Gateway Setup:


The Payment Gateway Setup allows you to set the default or primary payment gateway for all your events. You can also modify or assign a different payment gateway to individual events through the “Event Specific Payment Gateway” section.


Setting the Default Payment Gateway:

Under Available Payment Gateway, you will see a list of payment gateways available for your account. The one marked as default/primary will be used for all events unless you specify a different one for specific events.


Adding a New Payment Gateway:

To add a new payment gateway, click on the “Add New” button next to the default payment gateway.

You will be presented with the option to select a payment gateway, and once added, it will show up in the list of available gateways.


Hytix Payments is a highly recommended payment gateway for your events. It offers an all-in-one transaction processing solution with advanced machine learning features. If you prefer to use your own merchant gateway, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link to add your custom payment gateway.

To add Hytix payment gateway, click on Setup Hytix Payment as shown below:



  • Enter the Label and Statement Descriptor for your payment gateway account, then click "Next."
  • Enter your Email Address and Mobile Number, then click "Continue."

  • 6-digit verification code will be sent to your mobile number; enter the code to proceed. 


  • Select the type of account: Individual, Business, or Non-Profit Organization.
  • A form will open, fill in your personal details, and click "Continue."


  • On the next page, provide your business information, including your industry and website, and click "Continue." 

  • Select your bank account for payouts or enter your bank details manually. You can also enter your Debit Card information instead. 


  • Review the information for accuracy and submit your application Click on it to save your payment processing account.


B. Flag Orders as Suspicious if They Exceed the Price Limit:


To safeguard against fraudulent transactions, you can set a price limit to automatically flag orders as suspicious. Here’s how to set it up:

  • Go to Payment Processing settings.
  • Look for the option to Flag orders as suspicious if they exceed the price limit.
  • Enter the amount that you want to set as the limit for suspicious orders.
  • Once set, orders that exceed this amount will show a warning message when scanning the QR code:
  • "Warning: This order appears suspicious. Please verify details before proceeding."
  • Don’t forget to click the checkbox, enter the amount, and click Save.

This feature ensures an extra layer of protection for high-value transactions.


With these steps, you can efficiently manage and configure payment gateways for your events on Hytix/FEARTICKET. Whether you're using a default payment gateway like Hytix Payments or adding your own custom gateway, setting up your payment processing correctly is crucial for smooth transactions.
