Allow ticket buyer to re-schedule from future schedule (for timed ticketing event type)
Once an event schedule setup with multiple dates and times (Timed Ticketing type) and due to some reasons, you want to Reschedule your event on any specific date/time and notify ticket buyers to reschedule their visit from further available dates and times then you can use reschedule.
Select Reschedule and click on Next.
Select the date and timeslot for which you want to reschedule your event and you can get a number of attendees and tickets of that timeslot. as shown in the below image.
Scroll to see the option Send Email Notification once the date and time slots are selected.
- Select "Email to " options from > "To all Attendees" or "Select Specific"
- Next, By-default an email template is already there if required you may edit the subject and message text the way you want to send an email to your ticket buyers.
Please note: Do not remove {{ }} tag OR do not edit the text inside any {{ }} tags from below email body. - Click on the 'Reschedule and Email Attendees' button then you will see the message "Email sent successfully".
How it shows the buyer's side?
After the email has been sent, the buyer can choose a new date and timeslot. This is demonstrated in the image below. Once they've made their selection, they can click the "Submit" button. As a result, an updated ticket with the new date and timeslot will be sent to the buyer's email.
