FEARTICKET/ Hytix makes it easy for event organizers to create gift cards that ticket buyers can purchase for their friends and family. These gift cards can be used to buy tickets across multiple events. You can set up gift cards at the account level, allowing you to choose which events the gift card can be sold on and where it can be redeemed.
Steps to Create a Gift Card
- Navigate to the Gift Card Module
- Gift card can be accessed from 2 ways: Account level (global) and Event Level
- Account level (global): From the Admin Portal, navigate to Store> Gift Card> Manage Gift Card> Create Gift Card button.
- Event level: From the Admin Portal, go to the Manage Events> Manage Gift Card and then click on Create Gift Card.
- Click the “Create a Gift Card” button to open the Gift Card creation form.
- Gift card can be accessed from 2 ways: Account level (global) and Event Level
- Create a New Gift Card
- Events (Selling Gift Card): Select the events where this gift card can be sold.
- Event (Redeeming Gift Card): Select the events where buyers can redeem this gift card.
- Name: Enter the name for the gift card (e.g., “VIP Experience Gift Card”).
- Card Amount: Enter the value of the gift card.
- Description: Enter a short description for the gift card, including any conditions or important notes.
- Status: Use the toggle to set the gift card as Active or Inactive.
- Set Gift Card Conditions
You can define the following conditions for each gift card:
- Maximum Quantity: Set the maximum number of times the gift card can be sold (limit the total number of gift cards sold).
- Validity Period: Specify the time period during which the gift card can be redeemed (e.g., valid for 12 months from the purchase date).
- Gift Card Image: Upload an image for the gift card, which will be sent to the recipient’s email if the “Gift Card Applicability” is set to “Email Specific”.
- Applicability Conditions: Choose whether the gift card code should be sent to the buyer’s email or the recipient’s email from the “Gift Card Applicability” section.

Upload an Image
Upload an image for the gift card, which will be sent to the recipient’s email if the “Gift Card Applicability” is set to “Email Specific”.
Make sure to save the changes.
Viewing and Exporting Gift Cards
- Gift Card Orders
- All orders placed using gift cards for any event under your account can be viewed in the “Gift Card Orders” module.
- You can Export Orders to Excel for further analysis, tracking, or reporting.
- Redemption Report
- In the “Redemption Report” module, you can monitor the redeemed amount for each gift card code.
- View the redemption status of each gift card to track whether they have been fully redeemed, partially redeemed, or not yet used.
