Manage Gift Cards

Creating a gift card for your ticket buyers to gift to their loved ones is a simple and efficient process through the Hytix Admin Portal. This feature allows event organizers to offer gift cards that can be used for ticket purchases, providing a great gifting option for your attendees.

Steps to Create a Gift Card

1. Navigate to the Gift Card Module
   • From the Admin Portal, go to the Manage Events> Manage Gift Card and then click on Gift Card.
     
     
2. Create a New Gift Card
   • On the Gift Card page, click the “Create a Gift Card” button to open the Gift Card creation form.
   • Name: Enter the name for the gift card (e.g., “VIP Experience Gift Card”).
   • Card Amount: Input the amount for the gift card under the Card Amount field.
   • Description: Enter a description for the gift card, outlining any specifics or conditions as needed.
   • Status: Use the toggle to mark the gift card as Active or Inactive depending on its availability.
     
     
3. Set Gift Card Conditions

                You can define the following conditions for each gift card:

• Maximum Quantity: Set the maximum number of times the gift card can be sold (limit the total number of gift cards sold).
• Validity Period: Specify the time period during which the gift card can be redeemed (e.g., valid for 12 months from the purchase date).
• Gift Card Image: Upload an image for the gift card, which will be sent to the recipient’s email if the “Gift Card Applicability” is set to “Email Specific”.
• Applicability Conditions: Choose whether the gift card code should be sent to the buyer’s email or the recipient’s email from the “Gift Card Applicability” section.

• Once all details are filled in, click Save to create the new gift card.

Viewing and Exporting Gift Cards

1. Gift Card Orders
   • All orders placed using gift cards within the event can be viewed in the “Gift Card Orders” module.
   • You can Export Orders to Excel for further analysis, tracking, or reporting.
     
2. Redemption Report
   • In the “Redemption Report” module, you can monitor the redeemed amount for each gift card code.
   • View the redemption status of each gift card to track whether they have been fully redeemed, partially redeemed, or not yet used.
     
     

Note: This is a one-time redeemable gift card.
