FEARTICKET offers various levels of privacy for publishing events to suit your needs. By default, events are set to Public, making them visible to anyone browsing the platform. These events will appear in the FEARTICKET event listing directory and on major search engines.

Privacy Options

For hosts who prefer a more exclusive and private environment, FEARTICKET provides dedicated options for Private Events. This feature allows organizers to limit the visibility of event details and restrict access to a select audience. Private events are ideal for occasions where confidentiality or exclusivity is essential, such as corporate meetings, VIP gatherings, or invite-only celebrations.

Changing Privacy Settings

You can change your event's privacy settings at any time. To do this:

  1. Navigate to Manage Events.
  2. Click on Event Info.
  3. Scroll down to Event Publish Status.
  4. Select the desired Publish Status from the dropdown menu.

Event Privacy Levels

  1. Public Events

    • Can be found through major search engines.
  2. Private Events

Private Event Options

When setting up a private event, you can choose how to share it:

  • Password-Protected
    • Select “Only People with the Password” in the ‘Shared Only With’ field.
    • Set a password (minimum 6 characters) that attendees must enter to view and purchase tickets.
  • Anyone with the Link
    • Choose “Anyone with the link” in the ‘Shared Only With’ field.
    • Only those who have the event ticketing URL can access and purchase tickets.

Important Notes

  • Private events will not appear in the FEARTICKET public events directory or on major search engines.
  • If you change an event from Public to Private after it has been published, it will not be removed from any third-party search results (like Google) if it has already been indexed.
