Questionnaire Report

Modified on Tue, Mar 10 at 5:24 PM

The Questionnaire report in FEARTICKET allows event organizers to collect and review responses submitted by ticket buyers through custom questionnaires. This is a powerful tool for gathering attendee feedback, experience ratings, special requests, and other event-specific information directly from your customers.

Note: Results are refreshed from cache every 5 minutes. If you do not see the latest responses immediately, please wait a few moments and refresh the page.

How to Access the Questionnaire Report

  1. Log in to your FEARTICKET organizer account.
  2. Navigate to your Event Dashboard.
  3. In the left sidebar, click on Reports to expand the section.
  4. Click on Questionnaire from the list of report options.

You will see all responses submitted by ticket buyers for the questionnaire(s) attached to your event.

What Does the Questionnaire Report Show?

The Questionnaire report displays the following information:

FieldDescription
Question TitleThe label or question presented to the ticket buyer (e.g., "Your Experience / Feedback")
Total ResponsesA count of how many buyers answered the question
Individual ResponsesEach response listed separately, showing exactly what the buyer submitted

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where do questionnaire responses come from?

Responses come from ticket buyers who filled out the questionnaire during the checkout process. You can configure questionnaires when setting up your event under Event Setup.

2. Why does it say "results are refreshed from cache every 5 minutes"?

For performance optimization, FEARTICKET caches the questionnaire data and updates it every 5 minutes. This means newly submitted responses may not appear instantly. Simply wait up to 5 minutes and refresh the page to see the latest data.

3. Can I export questionnaire responses?

Yes. Click the Export button located in the top-right corner of the Reports page to download the questionnaire data. This allows you to analyze responses in tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

4. Can I see responses for a specific ticket type or schedule?

Yes. You can use the available filters at the top of the Reports section to narrow down responses by date range, schedule, or ticket type, depending on how your event is configured.

5. How do I set up a questionnaire for my event?

To add a questionnaire to your event:

  1. Go to Event Setup in the left sidebar.
  2. Look for the Questionnaire or Custom Questions section within your event settings.
  3. Add your questions (text, multiple choice, etc.).
  4. Save and publish your event.

Once a buyer purchases a ticket, they will be prompted to answer your questionnaire during checkout.

6. Is there a limit to how many questions I can add?

FEARTICKET supports multiple questions per questionnaire. For specific limits or advanced configuration options, please contact the FEARTICKET support team.

7. Can I make questionnaire questions mandatory?

Yes. Questions can be set as required, meaning buyers must answer them before completing their purchase. This is configurable in the questionnaire setup within Event Setup.

8. How is this different from the "Interested User" report?

  • Questionnaire shows structured responses to specific questions you created for your event.
  • Interested User shows a list of users who expressed interest in your event (e.g., via a waitlist or interest form).

Both reports are available under the Reports section in your event dashboard.

9. Can I see which buyer submitted which response?

Depending on your questionnaire configuration, responses may or may not be linked to buyer identities. For privacy-sensitive setups, responses may be anonymized. Contact FEARTICKET support for details on linking responses to specific orders.

10. What should I do if responses are missing or the report appears empty?

  • Wait up to 5 minutes for the cache to refresh.
  • Confirm that your questionnaire was published and attached to the active event.
  • Verify that ticket buyers have completed checkout, as incomplete orders do not generate responses.
  • If the issue persists, contact FEARTICKET support at www.fearticket.com.

Best Practices

  • Keep questions short and clear. Simple questions get higher response rates from buyers.
  • Use feedback to improve your event. Responses like experience ratings and open-ended feedback are invaluable for year-over-year improvements.
  • Export regularly. Download your questionnaire data after each event season to maintain records.
  • Test your questionnaire before launch. Complete a test purchase to ensure questions appear correctly during checkout.
